The Arizona Republic - Inappropriate billing.
I paid my subscription in February 2018 for 1 year. In September 2018 I received a bill for $572.66 for a 1 year subscription. I've talked with 3 different people in customer service stating (1) I do not owe $572.66 and my account is not due until February 2019. These discussion started in September, 2018, Dec 20, 2018-spoke to Kim and she said accounting system was down and they were merging, She said don't worry about it.; Dec 27, 2018 Francisco apologized and said he would take care of it. And now today 1-16-2019 I get a bill for $129.39 that does not state what it's for.
On Dec 28, I spoke to Daniel and he said Francisco does not work there. They canceled my paper because they said I owed $572.66 and now I get a bill for $129.39.
I've called customer service 3 times today and get hung up on when I give my phone number so they can identify my account.
My next step is to go to the TV news channel that helps senior citizens with problems like this. I've been a customer since early 1990's and this is how I get treated. ??????Help please!
Reason of review: Pricing issue.
Preferred solution: Stop billing me for something I do not owe. I paid for a 1 year subscription in February 2018 and I was cancelled in December because I would not pay $572.66. The paper went from $298.73 to $572.66 in 7 months???????.
